Today we went with Viv and Impy to Muriwai again and had a wonderful day. Garbo was really brave and played in the river (he was so happy to see that river again), and managed to even get him to walk in the outgoing waves a little bit. He ran away from one wave - but I stayed on and he relaxed after a while. I could feel his heart racing through the saddle. We also went into the forest for an hour and I practised my cantering around trees at high speed! We headed back via the beach , and Garbo, although keeping a wide berth from the waves, was great!! I am really proud of him - and I think we came ahead in leaps and bounds today. He was starving by the time we got back to the float - trying to snack along the way home on the grass verges! A bit about me (Vicki) and my horses and what we get up to. One of my horses is a Palomino (called Garbo) born 16th Sept 1997, and my baby is a Skewbald gelding called Maraschino born 4th October 2006. Then lastly I rescued a mini called Coco.

2nd day at beach
