I have been working on getting Garbo to move off the leg and forwards over the last month and on Saturday I decided to try clicker training in the saddle. So everytime Garbo was in a nice contact I would click him - and he got an apple piece. Boy did that get his attention! Suddenly this riding in the arena lark wasn't so bad!
Debbie took this picture during our 2nd session. Once I get him to have a consistent contact I won't get pulled forward so much and my legs should stay put too. Not sure why my hands look so uneven though! I have the clicker in my right hand.
