Garbo was a bit stiff after our forest ride on Monday, especially in his left hip so I booked a massage for him today. Rachel had not seen him for about 8 months. She was impressed with the lack of fat on his muscles compared to last year and she said his lateral flexion was alot better - so his neck was alot looser.
His hips were quite stiff and she did alot of work on them and also made some adjustments while standing on the fence post railing while I held his opposite leg out the back! Would have made a funny photo.
Afterwards he didn't seem very keen to walk much and he just stayed in his yard so I let them into the middle paddock which has nearly two weeks of grass in it. That should keep him moving and his mind off it. I have to check how he is on Friday to see if we need to book another session.
