Went to the forest on Saturday and had a great 1.5 hour walk. And on Sunday we went to Royal Oak. I wanted to practice going places by ourselves, and not quite ready to do that in the forest yet. Have visions of lying in the sand having fallen off and no one finding me for days!!
Anyway - after one spooky trip round the bridle path the 2nd one and 3rd one and all that followed were great. The little ponies in the middle paddock would run from one side of the bridle path to the other giving poor Garbo a fright each and every time! As he did with the ducks flying away from the stream, and seeing a sheep suddenly, and the neighbour next door dropping a whole pile of wood suddenly - you know - all those life threatening things in the eyes of a horse by itself!
This is us in the sqaure pen before some lunging.
