Redhills show was a lot calmer for us both than the show two weeks previous at Massey. Not sure if it was me being calmer that made Garbo calmer, or the other way round! The only bummer was that the Open/Novice adults were all in our ring - so my pet gripe - me being a beginner, yet again competing against those who have been riding and competing for 10-20 years.Garbo finally got the hang of the whole - go in, do some large cirles, come out and rest - thing - he loved the get back to the chairs for a scratch! His plaits were pulling I think.
I have decided never to plait again. Just not worth the 3 hours, pulling and rubberband - and the hideous removal - for one class! I think think he looks better without the plaits. Rebel me!
So - no ribbons but we had a fun day. George (sweet hubby) brought along coffee and food and there was no mud to be seen by anyone.
