I started lessons with Wendi Williamson today. She is a dressage instructor. I was really nervous she wouldn't think I was good enough but she is so cool and a really nice instructor. We worked on using the outside rein and outside leg to turn the horse so he turns without bending his neck (I practised in walk) and also on walking straight! Wendi gets on for half the lesson and is schooling Garbo as he had that bridle lameness from previous owners. Wendi thinks he has never been taught to accept the contact correctly. But she said he is a really quick learner and she is really pleased with the progress we both have made even just from day one to day two with her. We have some intensive training (every day planned for a while.
