Maraschino's lump

Called the vet today since Maraschino's lump was the size of a tennis ball. While it did not appear to be bothering him I thought it was best to get it checked.

The vet said it was a seroma after sticking a needle in it and draining some fluid. That was taking ages so she used a scalpel blade to make a bigger hole, then rinsed it a bit with vetadine and water.

It went to about half the size.

Poor Maraschino kept licking his leg because it was dripping on his leg ad then it would drip on the underside of his haw and head which he didn't like, and could not figure it out.

Today I massaged it again and the hole opened again and let some more out.

But he was very good for the vet - we had done some injection preparation training beforehand just in case.
