Dentist

It was dentist time again for Garbo and Amanda checked Maraschinos teeth were growing correctly as well while she was there. Even though alot of horses don't mind the dentist Garbo has never liked it so I was interested to see if the Parelli work had helped with it.

He was pretty good - he didn't like the gag very much (the thing that keeps his mouth open) but without that he got to quite like the rasp. I was explaining to the dentist that she was looking a tad predator (with energy up) as she was coming towards him with the rasps. She asked me how to bring her energy down...


So after about 30 minutes Garbo's teeth had all the sharp bits rasped off and he was comfortable enough to smell all the tools. I was really pleased that he didn't have to be sedated (my goal) and he didn't get too stressed.
