Parelli L1

Two weeks ago I started the Home Study Parelli Level 1.
OMG - is all I can say - it's amazing the results I have had so far and how far I have come. The programme is really easy to follow, well constructed and fun! There are loads of DVDs and pocket guides and easy to understand goals and lessons.

Garbo now stands up at the stable without being tied up, while I saddle him, and he doesn't lean on his feet while I try and pick them up! I can move his hind quarters and forequarters without touching him, I can get him to back up in a straight line 12ft by wiggling my finger. He makes a circle round me when I ask him to, until I ask him to stop - while I face one way and stand there doing nothing.

I can ask him to jump over a jump or squeeze through a narrow space.....

So - that's what I have been doing the last two weeks!! Great for wet weather - we have had our fair share of that!

Today was the getting to love the saddle gear day.... (love me, love my toys!)

I'm a huge Parelli fan. Enjoy the journey - it is fabulous, especially L3+

thanks!
I have started L2 now and finding it quite challenging - trying to figure out my horse being the hardest part!
We don't have any instructors here in NZ at the moment - and none near me so I have started emailing an instructor from Australia...!
Have you passed L3?
Do you have a website?
Cheers
