Garbo and I went for a ride to the forest with Bronwyn and Critey yesterday. Critey is Garbo's half sister. Same dam. She is a palomino too - and very cruisy. So of course Garbo was super cruisy too...we had a great ride, there was no one else there when we got back to the parking lot.
We trotted and cantered a bit up the sandy tracks and Garbo was so knackered afterwards. I took his tack off and took him to his favourite part of the forest - the rolling sand pit. He had a big roll and then just sat there for 15 minutes. I took him an apple and he just ate it lying down - didn't budge.
Then I hosed him down (once he finally got up).... he even stood still for that - it must have been nice and cool....
