Stabled

We decided to stable Garbo at night for a month, until the grass stops being so 'spring like'. Garbo seems to have had a toxic reaction to it. He's bloated, and girthy, tetchy, and he seems really uncomfortable. He's also on a Jenny Craig paddock during the day - much to his disgust.

He was fine tempermant wise when riding, not fresh or anything thank goodness.

Had another lot of bloods taken by Phil Robinson and his Haemaglobin levels are 156 (they were low at 102 on Oct 15). He (the vet) made me canter Garbo round the arena for 10 minutes before he took the blood. Apparently a third of the red blood cells can be stored in the spleen when not in work, or at rest.

This is Garbo - first night in the stable.
