Garbo loves jumping

This month I decided to go back to the basics of jumping. This came about because I fell off twice in a jumping lesson (from 3 point position) with Nigel. So I have started lessons with Claire from our barn, because she is also schooling Garbo in 'cruise control' and 'work ethic' as well as sticking him over some bigger jumps than I would currently be comfortable doing! Garbo really loves it and Claire said he is a really clever jumper. She said he will be great to learn on because he figures out the strides and take off points all by himself. She also said he will be a good Show Hunter because he can take off from further away from the jump.

Heres a pic of Claire jumping him over a 'water' jump. I ride him for half the hour and Claire for the other. I like the way Claire rides, and she is great at helping me out with my position and my confidence. We go over some little jumps (although Garbo likes to pretend they are big anyway) at the end of the lesson.
